Angelika Noegel

I met Angelika when I was a PhD student working on profilin.  She inspired me then and throughout my career.  She combined being a wonderful person with being a great scientist and role model.  She helped me with my career and she always supported others and brought out the best in people.  I am very sad that she is gone and she will be fondly remembered and admired.  Rest in peace, Angelika.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Angelika Noegel, and I would to express my deepest condolences to her family.

I had the privilege of meeting her during my post-doc at the Institute of Biochemie I in Köln. Her dedication and kindness have left an indelible mark on our lives and careers. Her legacy and contribution to the science will always be respected and remembered for ever. Rest in peace.

Really very sad! A great loss to the world Dicty community and to me personally. She was a hidden motivation and inspiration for me, even though we had not been in contact in recent years.
